Star Wars The Clone Wars Obi-wan's Jedi Starfighter

Wuddup collectors!

Been a long 2 months at work, and i'm in urgent need of therapy.. retail therapy, of course :) And what better way to do this than by shopping for new Star Wars collectibles?

It's been a while also since my last vehicle purchase, the last one being the AT-AP i got from the Hasbro Star Wars sale at Droids/Toyzone. Oh wait, i kinda bought that vintage POTF Millenium Falcon from Master Dre sometime after that..

Anyways, here's my latest loot: Star Wars The Clone Wars Obi-wan's Jedi Starfighter (Hasbro)

I got this from Toyzone, veeeery good price :)

Here's what i got from the box:
1. Diorama background
2. Box and manual sheet
3. 2x Starfighter units

Why do they give me two Starfighter units? It's actually one unit when combined, but can be separated into two vehicles. Let's see below for the how-to.

First you get the two separate units..

Unpack it, and assemble as such.. *yes, some assembly required*

And voila! The Starfighter's ready to seek and destroy Grievous' a** :)

To complete this set, here's what i will be getting next:
1. any Obi-wan figure from the Clone Wars series (easy to get)
2. any R4-P17 astromech droid figure (harder to get)
3. a Hyperspace Ring set (hardest to get)

So there you have it, another excellent job from the team at Hasbro. Getting the Anakin Skywalker version as my next purchase is definitely on my mind, hopefully it's still available somewhere.

I leave you with one last look so you can compare box size with actual product size.

See you next time, until then keep on collectin'.

Regards,
Donny a.k.a Master DJ Yoda
