First look: The Droids Coffee & Grill X Toyzone Shop

Attention collectors! There's a new hangout place for you! Toys.. food.. coffee.. what more do you want, right??

Lately there has been a few spurts of new collector hangout places in South Jakarta, such as The Other Culture (urban/designer vinyl toys), the 3rd floor on Blok M Square (die cast, action figures, games, etc) that just opened recently, and now this: The Droids Coffee & Grill X Toyzone Shop.

All i can say is that i'm happy that collectors now have a few places to share their interest and more places to shop. I promise i will dedicate each one of them a blog post later when i have the time to visit and write :)

Anyways, this is how the front looks like. It's located right next to OZ Radio in Kemang..

Neat, right? The best thing to do after spending cash on toys is to chill, open the box, talk about your latest find with friends over coffee and cigarette. And i would love to do this soon :)

I have to be honest with you all, i haven't tried the food and coffee. But with menus creatively named "Rancor Oxtail Soup" and "Mandalorian Grilled Chicken", i'm sure i will not be able to resist that long before i sink my teeth into them :)

Since i'm not much of a food critic (i eat because i'm hungry), let's just skip to the best part: Toys! Let us have a look-see at the new and improved Toyzone Shop, shall we..

Of course there's many things to buy and see there, and for some reason they did not appear in my camera. But lucky us i'm left with photos of the coolest parts of the shop.

There's a lounge with flat-screen TV and vinyl toy collection display, like so..



..and many cool toys on display all around the shop. I gotta warn you, Riza has a collection that will make you feel like your jaws just dropped a couple of floors. So watch at your own risk :p









..but to me, this is the champion of all displays. Drum roll, please.



This is something that Michael Jackson would own in his "Games Room" in Neverland, right?? Too awesome for words, go see it for yourselves!
