Wuddup collectors!!
Just wanna share with you what i have so far regarding Star Wars.. i think 90% of what i have is already included. Small collection, i know.. and some pictures are repetitions =) Some people have a lot more, not to mention a lot more awesome than what you and i have, but remember: we all start small.
Anyways, enjoy my collection and thanks for reading =)
That's it from me this time. Keep collecting 'till you say "ENOUGH!!" ..which is like, never =)

Recently opened: Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars Boba Fett CW32; Cad Bane CW42; Hondo Ohnaka CW41
Wuddup Collectors!!
Recently acquired fresh packs of Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars, namely: Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars Boba Fett CW32; Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars Cad Bane CW42; Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars Hondo Ohnaka CW41.
Last night i finally got to open them.. don't know why but i didn't want to open them for quite some time. The Cad Bane and Hondo Ohnaka figures in particular weren't so high on collectors' list of must haves. But oh well, they're now opened anyway. So why not take pictures of 'em =)
Off the packs
Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars Boba Fett CW32
Being the highest selling figure in the Star Wars Universe kinda have its own advantages. Plenty of variants, but this is by far the most interesting one compared to others found on the market. Why do i think this is interesting? Because this is a Boba Fett figure of when he was just a child with no experience, without the trademark helmet and the razzle dazzle =)
Hasbro did a great job with this figure, giving it lots of articulations and giving it a rocket pack to sort of give us a look into what's coming in the future.
Some kinda game.. "Galactic Battle Game". with base, dice and game card included.
Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars Cad Bane CW42

Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars Hondo Ohnaka CW41
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hondo_Ohnaka
I leave you with one last good look..
That's it from me this time, see you on my next post. Until then, keep collecting and taking pics of your collections and share them to the world =)

Simple Toy Photography - Using iPhone 3GS and Blackberry Pearl
Wuddup Collectors!!
Been enjoying Instagram lately, and i've gotten myself a bit of followers =) sure i dont have megazillion likes and followers (just a humble 264 loyal followers and friends, as of this article is published), but i do get my share of limelight and thumbs in there..
Btw my IG id is d_narendra, let's meet there =)
I've been posting pics for enjoyment for about a year now, and most of the things i like to post are pics of my collections and of my bikes.
I don't use DSLR cameras or other hi-end professional gears. I just use what i have, my iPhone 3GS and my Blackberry Pearl 9105 3G. The camera features on the Pearl 3G is a hell lot better than the one on the 3GS, so that's what i take my pictures with. After taking my pictures with the Blackberry with minimum lighting, i transfer them to the 3GS using one of 2 ways: by email or using data cable and transfer to the 3GS using iTunes.
Sounds like a lot of work, right? not really if you're used to doing this hahahahaha.
After transfering, now comes the fun part: editing. Of the many apps i have on my iPhone, i use Camera+, PicFrame, and Square Ready the most. So far, these are the apps that gets me creatively going when it comes to editing pics.
So what am i talking about? Here are some examples of pics i took using the Blackberry and after editing on my 3GS, for your viewing pleasure =)
Taken using Blackberry
After editing using Camera+ in iPhone 3GS
Pretty sweet right?? All nearly-automatically edited for you with a simple tap of a button hahahahahaha. Here are some more pics of the same treatment..
The key here is to add some dramatic juice to the pics, i guess.. looking at the pics, IMHO i have achieved that =)
My point to all this is to communicate that your collections, no matter how precious, are also great objects to photograph. Different people have different taste and eye when it comes to capturing their beauty, but i recommend that you snap away and let habit take over after that. It'll come through, eventually =)
That's it from me, watch out for my next post and keep snapping your collections until then. May the Force be with you and your photography equipments.

Last purchase of 2011 - Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars V19 Torrent Fighter
Wuddup Collectors!!
This was my last acquisition for 2011, the Hasbro Star Wars Clone Wars V19 Torrent Fighter.
I got a complete loose set, with box, diorama, and the V19 unit all packaged in plastics. Overall: Mint Condition! The person who sold me this said he made a mistake. He wanted to focus on Original Trilogy and the New Trilogy fleet of vehicles. Oh well, my gain =)
The V19 Torrent Fighter made its debut in the Star Wars: Clone Wars movie. According to http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/V-19_Torrent_starfighter, the Starfighter was an assault fighter with exceptional speed and maneuverability used by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars.
Here are pics of the set:
Box
Diorama
Unit
Manual (two side)
Out of the plastic packages
Some assembly required =)
The assembled unit
Compare Starfighter size with 3,75" figure
Pretty sweet, right?
That's it from me in 2011, happy new year and may all our collections in 2012 grow larger than ever =)
