Wuddup collectors!
As a child i was a big fan of the Doraemon manga series. Every Sunday 8am i was routinely glued to the TV before basketball practice, only to watch Doraemon, Nobita, Giant, Suneo and Shizuka go about their funny business.
Even though it is dubbed from Japanese language to Indonesian, it still felt right and funny. The show was hugely popular and made it to at least 15 years on Indonesian TV. Not to forget that there was a comic book series as well. There's not a single child in Indonesia who grew up in the early 90s that doesn't know Doraemon.

One of the most beloved characters of the Doraemon series is Nobita, his beloved "owner". Nobita constantly gets into trouble without even having to put an effort to it, be it academically and socially. That's why Doraemon was sent by Future Nobita to save his childhood so that Nobita doesn't grow up to be a failure. Sad, i know. But there's a happy ending to it all hahahahaha =D
The news of S.H. Figuarts making a Nobita figure must have passed me, probably because i'm not a manga/tokusatsu collector. But i do like the Revoltech series of collectibles and i kinda expect this to be like Revoltech - with moveable joints, changeable parts, etc.
When i saw this on the shelf in Blok M Square, Jakarta, i just had to grab a set. You know, for ol't time's sake =)
This is how the boxed set looks like:
These are the items you'll get inside the box:
Too many to mention, IMHO. But all the accessories actually appeared on some episodes, which i'm guessing are among the most popular episodes. Otherwise, Bandai wouldn't make them as accessories, right?
The figure itself is about 10cm tall, and this is how it looks like out of the box. Lots of accessories, super-poseable, all the works.

What's Nobita without Doraemon? They do get along well as figures =) Here are some pics of Doraemon and Nobita together. I'll post Doraemon another time, though.

Well that's it from me this time. In my opinion, they are money well-spent for all the things you get here and definitely worth it to relieve childhood memories =)
Until then, keep collecting to reminisce the good ol' days.
