For my children: Star Wars Playskool Potato Head

Hey y'all,

I totally love the Potato Head series from Playskool. Even though they're for 2+ years old, they still make fine collectibles that you can definitely pass down to your children later when they've reached the allowed age to play with them. They're made of durable materials that can withstand the test of time and the abusive treatment that will be given to them, no problem.

I'm particularly fond of the Star Wars series, and i have two of 'em. One that I got is the Playskool Star Wars Mr. Potato Head Clone Tuber, and a Playskool Star Wars Mr. Potato Head Star Tours Exclusive Spuda Fett.

Playskool Star Wars Mr. Potato Head Clone Tuber

I got this from a Debenham's Midnight sale from Rp.199,000 down to Rp.100,000 (or 50% off) while i was doing an exhibition at Senayan City, Jakarta. After a week-long monitoring and event-running duties, i got bored and decided to check out the sale.. and i found this gem. It was the only one left, so i couldn't resist the urge to grab it. Plus it was cheap, so what the heck :)

Below are shots of what's inside the box.

Here's Clone Tuber in chill-out mode (..or not wearing battle gear)

And here it is in full battle gear

I dig the weapon. It's actually a potato masher cleverly made into a gun :) But what i really like is this: an ass compartment to store junk in the trunk LOL

..I guess this feature is available for all Mr. Potato Head line. Anyway, the next Mr. Potato Head Star Wars product i have is:

Playskool Star Wars Mr. Potato Head Star Tours Exclusive Spuda Fett

Why such a long name? Because apparently, you can only get this particular line of Potato Head in Star Tours Shops. In Disneyland, USA, that is. It's not available anywhere else but here, unless you go there yourself and bring home a set. Hence the
Star Tours Exclusive
tagline.

The potato shape is the same, as with any other Potato Head toy. But compared to the Clone Tuber, this has way cooler accessories. Yaayyy!!!

Here are what's in the box..

And this is Spuda Fett in his full Mandalorian glory..

On this one, i really liked.. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT :) I like the helmet, but i like the rocket pack he carries on his back. I mean, who else would dare carry around a photon torpedo on his/her back escept this guy, huh? Too bad such a bad-ass guy died a punk in the Return of The Jedi :(

Well that's that, hope you like the pictures. These toys, i certainly won't mind sharing with my children. As a matter of fact, i can already picture it *blurry image fading to imaginative scene*..

Oh yeah!

You know what they say.. you don't actually own toys, you only look after them for the next generation :)

Until then, keep collecting 'till you wanna puke.
